Mrs. Keller's interest in promoting library service and in improving public support
for their operations assured her participation in 1973's first Governor's Conference on Libraries. Her letter to a local
newspaper writer is interesting both as an overview of that event and as a description of the state's "great" snowfall of
1973. Even someone as cultured and as widely traveled as Rosa Keller appears to have been completely taken by that
unexpected meteorological visitation!
