Anthony Joseph Flaherty took photographs in New Orleans during the 1970s and 1980s. He was particularly interested in the contrast between old and new architectural styles existing in close proximity to one another in New Orleans. His photos reflect that interest along with a more general interest in apparent anachronisms on the city's streets.
