Animals 3 1 105 6/2/1786 Governor: Miro; Royal Ensign: De Reggio, Sr. - At this time the Governor presented to the Cabildo an "Edict for Good Government." This edict, consisting of 34 Articles, is shown in full on pages 105 to 111, and appears to have been the first city laws issued by the Spanish Government up to this time, except those established by O'Reilly which are not shown in the record. - Articles 24 and 25 of this edict provide definite rules governing dogs and animals of various kinds running at large.
