Trespassing 3 III 81 8/16/1793 Governor: Carondelet; Royal Ensign: Almonaster - At this time the Royal Ensign made known that hunters are entering into the lands which are occupied and fenced, discharging their guns too close to the houses and sometimes killing animals. He asked that measure be provided to stop this abuse.

Trespassing 3 III 118 1/31/1794 Governor: Carondelet; Royal Ensign: Almonaster - The Commissioners discuss that hunters trespass upon lands without respect to property rights, destroy fences and otherwise cause damage. They asked the Governor to order an edict published prohibiting this abuse under penalty.

Trespassing 3 III 156 9/19/1794 Governor: Carondelet; Royal Ensign: Almonaster - At this time a representation is made by Don Beltran Gravier, Don Juan Bautista Mc Carty, Don Thomas Sales, Don Pedro de Marigny, Don Estevan Bore, Don Bautista Sarpy, and other inhabitants living on the outskirts of the city, complaining that many Negroes living on the Bayou St. John, as well as other from the city, continue to cut wood on their lands, destroy their cypress trees, and risk the lives of the inhabitants and their live stock by hunting. The Commissioners agreed to forward this complaint to the Governor.
