The Commissioners unanimously agreed that this be done. Later (page 139) a letter is received from Father Sedella, dated at the Royal Palace of El Prado, in which he thanked the Cabildo and informed them that the title of “His Majesty’s Honorary Preacher” had been conferred upon him. |
