The Newcomb Art School seniors took the unusual step in 1916 of drawing their own yearbook portraits. On the facing page is a picture of Ellsworth Woodward, perhaps the school's most famous faculty member. Woodward was an artist himself and, with his brother William, founded the Newcomb School of Art.
