LSU's Fighting Tigers have come a long way in 100-odd years, from this languid bunch to the 2003 BCS Champions. Note their 2 and 2 record that year. They were whipped 70 to 0 by Millsaps and then turned around and beat Millsaps 6 to 5. Even worse, they fell to arch-rival Tulane 29 to 0.
